I'm pretty easy going for the most part, however I am a perfectionist which at times makes me too serious with certain things . . . I've mellowed a LOT over the years - so - it's all good!
I love animals, that's why I nearly have a home full!
Dance is my passion . . .
So hey, I was born in Rhode Island (Westerly) & raised in Pawcatuck. I have 3 older brothers which makes me the baby & only girl of the family.
Unfortunately my Dad died when I was 19yrs old, so that was a HUGE bummer, as I really didn't get the chance to get to know him as an adult.
Anyway, back to me - I grew up around boys which made me a tomboy. Pretty wild when it was time to go to ballet lessons, yes? I was a Rainbow girl, on a swim team & pretty much the 'boss' of the kids in my neighborhood for many years. Then I decided it was time to date . . . which was a pretty wild ride to say the least! I had the attraction by the time I was 16yrs to younger boys! Sure, at 19yrs I tried to date a few older boys - it just didn't work out.
I married my high school sweetie (had my son) & BOOM, over & out divorced . . . Second attempt at marriage was a total disaster, as he was a total jerk in the sense he loved to lie, cheat, steal & be a total loser! After hanging in for 3yrs & my daughter I realized it was a losing battle - thank goodness I left . . .
Now I'm married to a retired Naval Officer (22yrs) who brought me across the US 4x's, up & down the east coast a dozen times & now has me settled in a little hick town in GA!!! However, it's home & I'm happy!
I'm a Mom of 4 pretty wild kids . . . My one & Only son is Daniel who came into the world nearly on Halloween night, yet waited until the next morning putting me through hell. Just kidding! He's the best son a Mom could have & better - just wish he'd write to me more! (yea, he's in the Navy stationed in Virginia). He married a beautiful model named Jennifer (Jehnn for short) & gave me two really kewl grandsons: Gryphyn (born in Japan) & Beauwyn!
Next is my daughter Carrie . . . she's in Kentucky & yea, she hardly calls or writes just like her brother. Go figure! She gave me two awesome grandsons: Kailan (born in Hawaii) & Austin.
I MISS MY GRANDSONS!!! Did I mention that I was present for 3 of the 4 births of those boys? Oh yea, that was quite an experience being on the other side! ~ giggles ~
Next comes my Emily . . . what a kid! Total freak in a good sense of that word. Extremely creative, fun, artistic & well - all around FANTASTIC gal! She's got tattoos like me, peircings almost like me & is the type of girl you'd want as your best friend!
Last is my Sarah. Crazy, wild, tattoos, 17 going on 30!!! Need I say more? Didn't think so.
Let's see . . . OH YEAH - our 5 dogs we lovingly call the "Pup-A-Raht-Z" ~ cackles ~
Sweetie, our red long haired dashie was born in Australia & we bought her when in Hawaii '96. We rescued Sassie, our dapple long haired dashie in GA in '97. Back in Hawaii *2 tours* we got ChaCha, our Australian Silky terrier. Next, while in Virginia, we bought BayBee - my black mini schnauzer. Last came Twiggie, our salt & pepper mini schnauzer that I bought in Florida.
I have 2 kitties: Spik-E-PoohPooh (yes it's a she) & Rosie Cruz. They were supposed to be Emily's - yet somehow are now mine.
Ruby is our beautiful gray&yellow cockatiel & Freck is our blue parakeet (want him/he needs a home)
Then there's all the fish . . .
And last our the 4 Baby Dragons: Brice, Mr Ugly, Sephera & Lil Bit.
Whew . . . now where was I? Oh yea, I feel I have a LOT to offer, as my aspirations have always been; TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE (in a good way naturally).
As a teen, since I loved to Dance, I organized many talent/variety shows within my church, school & local community . . . My little group of dancers went to nursing homes, children homes, churches & any place that would let us perform!
This passion to get involved & organize stuff followed me as an adult . . . In Hawaii, I formed two Dance teams, was the #1 choreographer, Editor of a country/western newsletter {Country Caravan News}, Dance instructor, team costume designer & seamstress.
My team; Country Dream went to California & Las Vegas bringing back to Hawaii 2 FIRST PLACE awards! Highest scores in choreography thank you kindly!
In Georgia, I organized & formed the Southern Country Express 'social club' - from that, MagicK In Motion Show team was born . . .
Got to meet MICROWAVE DAVE & THE NUKES!!!
A Blues band (awesome) who did a song: Road Runner which I choreographed a line Dance too & WOW - it went nation wide! (back in '95 that is)
Back to Hawaii - the Oahu Swing Dance Club was born along with another newsletter, Egroup/list & Dance team; Swing West. I was still teaching as well as performing & choreographing many line Dances . . .
All of that seems so ancient - ever get that feeling?
Now back in Georgia again, & naturally getting too involved, there was another newsletter, Egroup & club: SouthEast Georgia Dance Club - I won't go into details, cuz basically it SUCKS!!!
FOUND MIDDLE EASTERN DANCING & LIFE IS GREAT!

Ever get a teacher who constantly puts down the way you dress (in front of the entire class mind you) telling you it's "not right"? Oh yea . . .
Needless to say I'm NO longer with that teacher, class or group thank you very much!
